1. How to Initiate a Return

• Notification: You must notify us via email at diegocorreaartspace@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your artwork to request a return.

• Return Window: Once you have notified us, you have an additional 14 days to safely pack and ship the artwork back to us.

2. Return Shipping & Costs

• Buyer Responsibility: You are responsible for organizing and paying for the return shipping costs.

• Required Methods: Returns must be sent using a fully tracked, signed-for courier service, insured for the full value of the piece. We cannot issue a refund if the item is lost or damaged in transit back to us due to inadequate courier services.

3. Permitted Inspection vs. Handling Damage

• The Legal Standard: You may inspect your online purchase in the same way you would in a physical art gallery, including opening the outer shipping box and viewing the artwork to verify its colours, details, and quality.

• Clear Protective Packaging: The artwork arrives enclosed in a 100% transparent protective sleeve, sealed with a tamper-evident sticker, allowing full inspection without opening it.

• Excess Handling: Breaking the seal goes beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods. Once the raw surface is exposed, you are fully liable for its care.

• Diminished Value Deductions: If returned with signs of handling—including fingerprint smudges, surface scratches, bends, creases, or odor exposure—we reserve the right to deduct the loss in value, up to 100% of the purchase price, from your refund.

4. Exemptions

Custom Work: The 14-day return rule does not apply to custom commissions, personalized pieces, or made-to-order sizes. These sales are final unless the item arrives faulty or damaged.

5. Processing Your Refund

• We will process your refund within 14 days of safely receiving the artwork back and inspecting its condition.

• Your refund will include the original purchase price plus our standard outbound shipping cost. Premium or express shipping upgrades chosen at checkout are non-refundable.
